Research

Indus Water is deeply involved in the space of research in Water and Waste Water and supports research activities and project in its own capacity and also for various agencies. The Water Space requires so much research to find an equitable solution to its various aspects . From developing AI applications to specific biological and heveay metel research Indus is involved with a diverse range of stake holders.

Currently Indus is joint conducting a Research Project with Prof. Hadas Mamane, Head of Environmental Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering Tel-Aviv University, Israel in

Machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) models which are used to reduce the need for expensive and time-consuming sampling and testing, using data that is analyzed in real time with fast response time for variant parameters as inputs for the model, that are used for predicting other parameters. Variant parameters refer to water quality parameters (as temperature, pH, electrical conductivity etc.), geographic parameters (as location) and other related parameters depending on the case (as rainfall, river flow, etc.). One method is by applying a multi-layer perceptron (MLP) model which is considered as a nonlinear mapping between an input vector and a corresponding output vector.
